A couple of musicians from the Musikkollegium Winterthur visited classes in Winterthur schools to introduce children to classical music. With class UST 7 from the Michaelschule, the programme ended with the animation of fish drawn by the schoolchildren, to the sound of French Composer Camille Saint-Saens‘ Aquarium from The Carnival of the Animals.
The cartoon was projected while the orchestra played the score by the French composer. The children were delighted to see their drawings come to life in a digital sea.
In this video of the cartoon, the open source music is played by the Seattle Youth Symphony, conducted by Vilem Sokol (To protect your privacy, I do not embed videos on this site any more).
