Issue:
The « Convert to Plain Text » function occasionally fails to work on both Windows and macOS.
Possible Cause:
The Word document may be corrupted.
Suggested Solution:
Try converting the file to LibreOffice format and then back to a .docx file.
Recommended Practice:
- Maintain a master document with Instant Formatting turned off.
- « Commit » the master document frequently
- Always perform citation and bibliography updates on a copy of the master document—not on the master file itself.
